Introduction from NC

Hi, I reckon I'm new here, so I'll make my introductions. Name's Will from Cullowhee, NC. I just bought a Ranger recently, a very faded red (now pink) xlt with pushbutton 4WD, a duralast 2.9 V6, stick shift. Figured I was getting a good deal but now I'm not so sure..... I suppose if I am looking for some technical assistance or suggestions I should start a relevant thread elsewhere?

I would suggest looking for the most important "issue" and posting in an appropriate thread...say your engine is not starting or runs rough...there is a V6 forum below for that and there are many on here with good solid experience with these engines...

Aside from that...there is also a place for build threads...where you are revamping the truck or making modifications that others may find helpful or interesting...feel free to post and ask questions...but also be sure to check out the Tech Library and use the Search features on the site to find already posted threads and articles that you should find very helpful...

Most of all...this is one of the best sites for learning and sharing...and having fun...a good sense of humour goes a long way...especially when you can laugh at yourself when making all the mistakes that pretty much everyone makes...nobody is perfect...but some of us come pretty close...lol

Welcome to TRS. Yes for sure dive into the tech/info forums and search is your friend but all in all not to the point of frustrastion. Jump right out here on the open boards and we will all help as best we can.
