Hi all,
I am in the middle of doing a 302 swap into my ranger. Story behind the swap is.....I have owned a couple diesel volkswagens, the 1.6 td and the tdi, loved em both. I really wanted to put a diesel into the ranger for efficiency, however my buddy was trying to sell his 86 f250 4x4 with a rebuilt 302......hmmmm
. More conversion parts for 302.....more power.....302 it is
! Just after Christmas, the 3.0 gained a head gasket leak and the clutch slave/master died on me. I didn't feel like ripping the transmission from the motor, so I decided to start the swap. The ranger was originally a 3.0L manual, and I'm going to try and use the 302, AOD, and np 208 that it came with.
I have taken plenty of photos, though i will post them up on another post.
