Internet explorer 9.0 in real life

I like having it off better; but then again, I don't have many sites saved as a favorite.

Did you know that "Safari" and "Opera" both have internal "torrent" features?
And that some of those features that share your information, and even media files, are turned ON by default?


As for Favorites, I have several thousand "bookmarks/Favorites" and they are very well organized.

What's better is that I've maintained that collection of bookmarks from IE7 through IE8 and IE9

Not necessarily. I use Firefox because the previous versions of IE sucked and lacked features Firefox had. Now I have used IE9 some (not on my PC) and don't hate it but it doesn't give me a reason to switch back from Firefox. I left IE for a better product and I don't see IE9 as a better product than Firefox so I have no reason to leave what I'm used to.

It amazes me at all the people who have MS versions of anything have something bad to say.. I never have any slowness issues with anything.. I am not a fan of some changes from version to version but I get use to it.. I will say I am a IT professional and I know how to keep away from spyware and such that usually the infadels somehow get. Then they ask the mother of all stupid questions.. How did I get it?? Well you clicked on something to download it jackass... But hey it keeps me in a job!!

The video was funny...I like the laughing paper clip helper...it's how I felt they were thinking when they put that stupid thing on there in the first place...took me a while to learn how to disable that...but, then again, I'm a slow genius...

The computers at one of the Libraries I frequent have FF as the default and I like that better than messing around with IE...not that IE is a bad thing...I used it for years before finally switching to FF because IE simply could not connect to the internet on a 5 MB/s connection...FF was up and running as soon as I installed it on the same computer and the same connection...

Haven't looked back...

One of the best reasons that I switched to FF. IE does not incorporate the newest features that FF, Chrome, and Opera have had for several release versions. Opera had tabbed browsing *years* before IE did. FF, Mozilla/Netscape had internal popup blockers *years* before IE did. All of the alternative browsers had these features and more several generations before IE did. add ons are another example. Adblock plus, X-marks, other handy add ons are available to FF, Chrome, Opera but not to IE, or not until IE release 9. as for keeping my bookmarks, the xmarks (formally foxmarks) ad on has kept my bookmarks synced up between 3 computers for several years, and that is also between chrome and FF, for several generations of both browsers. before x-marks, I was able to keep my bookmarks from back in the late 90's when mozilla/ netscape was IE's competition.

on my main computer, I have all 4 of the major browsers, IE9, FF, Chrome, and Opera. The one I use the most upstairs in FF, because it and IE are the only two browsers that will connect me to work without issues. Chrome will, but it is glitchy. Opera fails at that completely.

I have found that Chrome works somewhat better as a browser on my windows vista laptop, but not as well with my win 7 machine.

The biggest issue I have with FF and Chrome is that flash player crashes frequently and will cock up browsing until a restart of the browser or an update is found for flashplayer....

Plus with most of the attacks/ malware aimed at IE (because it does have the biggest market share altho I really wonder why...) running FF is better.
