Hello to all! I am a former Ranger owner. I had a 2011 Ranger Sport up until this past March when I got rid of it for a Focus because of fuel economy. So I have been living in Florida for 2.5 years now. Specifically in Jacksonville. Since I have been here I have seen in about 4 or 5 different times car carriers driving south on the 95 and north on the 95 carrying a load of international Ford Rangers. I am very curious as to where they are coming from and where they may be going to. They aren't built in North America as far as I know. They sure as hell aren't sold here either except for in Mexico (lucky bastards haha). So does anybody have any insight as to what they are doing here? I have also seen a few flat bed semis hauling UN Toyota Land Cruisers as well as Nissan Patrols which aren't even sold here either going up and down the 95.

maybe some sort of defense contractor in your neck of the woods? you say youve seen them northbound and southbound both?

I asked my Brother-in-law. He has been with Ford for over 30 years and he said...'No Way'. He used to build Rangers until that plant closed down the Ranger production. No pics to back your story? I would like to see what you saw.

Yup I have seen them going in both directions.

I see them all the time driving around. Up from mexico.
Maybe over there yeah but I am in Florida so they arent coming from Mexico. And plus where would they be going? They arent sold in Canada.

I wish I did have some pics but everytime I see them I am doing about 80 mph on the interstate and its a last second sighting. Dont wanna wreck out trying to suddenly get my camera haha. Ill try to get some when I see the next one. Maybe I can find one in a rest stop on the 95. But believe me they are the international Rangers. I could spot one from a mile away. I love those things and wish that they could be sold here.
