Sooo..I've been trying to find an interior rear cover but can't seem to know what to call it, which makes it aweful difficult to find.
I tried eBay and google with the terms "ford ranger interior cover" "rear cover" even "ford ranger cover" and could not find this thing.

Anyone know its official name...? Or can think of something else to call it...?
Or better yet, know where to purchase one (other than the dealer)...?

This is a photo I found off crutchfields site. So it belongs to them not me.
I can take pictures of my truck if it'd help more.

Thanks!! :)

dam i threw mine away off my ranger.. dont know what its called though..

I was looking for one of those for a while too. Nada clue what they're called.

It would work great for hiding a sub/amp/toolbox when I'm going to college.

Something like "interior privacy screen" or something like that comes to mind.

I keep looking for someone parting out a 2-dr supercab so I can get one myself.

I've honestly never seen one. I check every supercab truck in the yards, and every time I see a supercab being parted out on here I check as well. I'm tempted to measure it out and buy a regular shade for a window, then just mod it to work for the truck.

If I ever find the money to get my system put in, I'll definitely look into doing that. For now I'll just use the blanket I keep in the back to cover my stuff. At least it's good for something now that I'm single. :icon_thumby:

It's called a "Luggage Cover" in the Ford shop manuals. A collision repair guide I have also lists it as a Luggage Cover, along with a part number F47Z 1345440 AAK for it (93-97). Hope that helps, and good luck.

i have one in the back of my bronco. i think its called the privacy cover. i use is all the time to hide my tools. laptop. subs and amp. plus it sturdy enough to be kind of like a soft back dash.

Okay, I think I've given up trying to find one on the internet.
That is what its called (along with the correct part name, I think thats for a blue one though). I googled that part name and only one link came up to a forum. They said a brand new one costs $220 from the dealer. Thanks ford for making a piece a vinyl so expensive. Oh sorry, you added a handle to it too. :)
I'll just have to start looking at junkyards. But the chance of me finding the right color is slim to none (I have the 'deep jewel green' color. Which is like a forest green).
Its not that important to have it, but like everyone else that replied, it would be useful to hid things.

Thanks again everyone!

I just got one from pull a part for a buddies truck, I think they charged me 4.00 for it.
I can see if I can get another one.

You have a green interior?

My current 2008 doesn't have one and I've been thinking about trying to find one for it because the 1995 Ranger that I previously owned had one and I miss it because I would hide my valuables under the cover.

Yeah, I do photography work.
And I usually throw a sweatshit over as much gear as I can in the back.
With the cover, I wouldn't have to.
Except I wonder if people see the cover pulled, and wonder whats underneath it that they are hiding. haha.

Did you get the wall panels with the grooves to go with it?
