Saw this build on Pirate4x4. Anyone think he'll have problems with the C-bushings coupled with a joint at both ends of his link? Figured I'd share it.

I saw that....don't really care for it. With good flex joints there is no need for the C bushings. Just looks like another area to develop slop and axle hop to me.
 
yeah, that's over complicating thing IMO.
If I was to do SAS, I'd do a 3 link, one side as a y-link, other just a single link. joints to the frame (like a longarm kit on a XJ, just 3 link)..
 
My buddy got 79 f150 axles with cast wedges to put in his TJ. I made a 3 link front and did the same thing. Couldn't cut the cast wedges off so I made due. Cut the forged radius arms and welded tabs on them to bolt his heims to. He's wheeled it for over a year like that and its flexes great, hasn't had any problems. His links are also way larger than in that pic. 2 x .25 with 1" heims.
