Intake Vapor Hose removal

Hi all. Doing a valve cover on a 2005 2.3 Ranger and I can't figure out how to release the clips on this vapor hose. Any
tips?

Press the white thing down and pull. It's not a retaining clip, its a release button. Sometimes you still gotta twist and yank quite a bit while holding the button down.

You should also consider replacing that line, I can see from the pic its dry rotting. Run your hand on it and I'll bet a bunch of black soot comes off from the deteriorated rubber.
