I know the upper intake are In/lbs not ft/lbs. Don't ask how I found out.... Let's just say i was young and very very stupid.

According the spec in the manual, there is a progressive torque of 5 steps for the lower intake

All bolts 8 mm

Step1 torque to just snug start in the center, work out
Step2 torque to 3-6 ftlbs
Step3 torque to 6-11 ftlbs
Step4 torque to 11-15ftlbs
Step5 torque to 15-18 ftlbs
repeat after engine has warmed up

the upper intake, tighten all to 7 ftlbs at first
then again to 15-18 ftlbs

as for the valve covers
spending a bit more on a good set of valve cover gaskets can save you some head aches.
best to make sure that the covers are flat and mating surfaces are clean, no divits around the bolts holes, make sure that the cover is sitting flat on the head.

make contact with the bolt and just snug them another 1/4-1/2 turn. Don't need much here
