instrument panel screw specs

Bought back my 1992 Ranger. But he used it for a parts body. I am trying to put it back together, but some parts missing. The first one is the four screw/bolts that hold the instrument cluster to the chassis. I borrowed these two pics. The red circles show the screws. I need size/pitch/etc. Could not find them in the 1989 parts manual. Can anyone help?

That's the best I have to offer man, It's from a Ford CD for 93-94 Ranger, the same manual they used in their dealership shops. It shows the Ford part numbers but I didn't find anything about the screw sizes. I've also learned in the last month or so that the Mazda B-series trucks are almost identical, exceot for screws they used TORX tips and metric sizes. Last week i robbed a 94 Mazda B in a wrecking yard of its Gauge cluster too, it was totally the same, except for the screws

Yes, that was a valid part number, but the 93 is second generation, and the 92 is first. Still, I tried it. The parts houses show that one as 'superceded' but there is nothing in the 'superceded by' blocks. After a very frustrating convo with our dealership parts department I broke down and 'raped' one out of the 89, and put it in my 'screwchecker' (r).

m4x25mm, .75mm (coarse pitch). BUT the standard pitch of m4 is .7. See what Ford did? Odd hex head, with t20 torx, and odd pitch. I have ordered some standard m4s, as the back is a speed-nut catch, and I doubt that .05mm will make any difference. Will repost if it does.

Yes, the 1989 is still sputtering in indignation.

No, 83-88 is 1st gen, 89-92 is second, 93-97 is 3rd.

Also, 93 may be a different body style, but the dash didn't change until 95.
 
adsm08, Sorry if I stepped on your toes. That is how I leared it in the Army. Skipping "Wikipediea", I found this:
Would appear you are correct, in one breakdown system.
Tomato/Tomatto on the different breakdowns.
Either way, there was a clean break between 92 and 93.

Snoranger, I was unaware of that the cluster was the same. Thank you. But DIFFERENT screws (straight m4x25, hex head)(per that useless dealership parts clown). ScrewCheck'r (r) (spelled it right this time) says the 1989's is m4x25mm, .75mm (coarse pitch).

Hmm... I need to update that signature now that I bought it back.
