How do you get at the bulbs to replace a one. I have had the dash apart. Cluster does not come out enough to get behind it. Had the faces of the cluster, But tach and speed-o does not pull out. Looked all over to see if i was missing a screw, but found nothing.

i can get the left side of the cluster out about 1.5 inches. but the right side will not lift out. Anyone have any thoughts

thanks Mike!

well with my 1986 BII i had to remove the speedo cable from the back of the speedo.
there should be a white clip of some kind on the end of the cable. on my cable i just had to push on the clip and pull the cable out.
if you get the cable out you should be able to move the cluster enough to get at the bulbs
if not it might be easier to pull the cluster all the way out, there is just two electrical connections at the back of the cluster, they are just clipped in there, just push on both sides of the connection and pull the connections out.

hoped that helped

crazy.
