I used an old extension cord that got chewed up on one end with a skill saw and striped the insulation off part of it and stole the 16 gauge wires inside of it, that is why my colors do not match up. I have everything labeled in my fuse block and its quite simple to connect the wire to a power source to find out what it goes to, all the wires run into the dash and are zip tied together, so its not real critical to be able to know what each wire is.
I thought about trying to run a common ground to clean it up, but I could not fit two 16 gauge wires into one crimp on connector, and it was 1:30 AM and couldn't run to the store, so I ran all four wires into a wire nut and have it attached to the frame.
So far its worked great, I have a slight short in one of the switches I need to workout, and I put the switches for my warning lights a little too close to the KC switch... I have flipped my strobes once so far reaching for my KC switch in the dark.
