Is this something I could do with a buddy or do I need to take it in some where? I obviously would take it to get aligned but if I could save 500 bucks I have a buddy that swears he can help me

i did it my self and it was a large enough task, first i recommend you have tools at your disposal, patience, some mechanical know how and time,

The biggest pain IMO was grinding out all those factory rivets, honestly if you go to there site there is a step by step set of instructions look them over see if you think you can handle it, i recommend also having a torque wrench, some specialtie tools were required like a pitman arm puller, over all in the end it took me about 3 weeks, didnt really rush it just worked on it when i had time, itys enough work and an extra set of hands is always a bonus,

holy crap!!! three weeks!!??!! must not have been your daily driver.

me and my dad installed a tuff country lift over the weekend and got it aligned the following monday and from there i drove it to work.

I was able to do my 6" lift in one night after work, and then aligned it the following day.

Took me a total of about 6 hours to finish it.

Granted this was done on a hoist with all the tools needed at hand.
