Installing PCV valve assy

Hey guys, due to my hose off my heated PCV being caved in and crack more times than I'm willing to repair I picked up a new one. Problem is that it comes as an entire assembly. Anybody do one of these? Can't decide if I should chance trying to bend this tube in or just start taking crap apart to insert it.

Leave that long plastic tube in the manifold, and slip the new hose onto it.....or pull the intake manifold i had the same problem the elbow hose was collapsing with age so i fitted a half inch angle pipe inside...works ok......that was after was at the dealer getting a price on the $100 part lol
