Ok well i found out that my 4wd wasnt working cuz of the vaccumm hub lines etc... so i was told to get manual lockouts... and i heard WARN was the best.. i just need some help finding the right ones.. i found a few that mentions they wont work with "Live Axles", not sure what that means, but the models listed that it will work for is 1998- older 00's..
THeres a bypass method on this forum that shows taking out the white round thing and releasing the clips, locking the hubs permanently, i did that, but was told by someone thats a temporary fix and will wear out stuff like u joints and ball bearing, can anyone confirm this??
I live in Minnesota, i need the 4wd for winter, and wheen i go offroading some in the summer..
Any help would be appreciated..

1999 Ranger XLT 4x4 3.0 FFV (wish it was the 4.0)
Ext Cab, oversized tires (actually off a 94? Explorer)
