Morning Team!

I want to replace the window trim in my doors. This is the trim that is called the door glass run from LMC. I pulled the old stuff out no problem, but the new trim will not slide down all the way into the channel. It looks like I will at least have to take the door panel off. Does anyone know if I will have to remove the window as well? Hope that is not too difficult.

Thanks in advance,

Justin

If you're talking about just the window felt that goes around the window, I had the door panel and both pieces of bottom window felt off when i slid it in, getting it all the way down the track is easier with a little silicone or tri flow. My 89 ranger doesn't have the front quarter windows and there was a little plastic piece that the old felt went through, I ended up trimming the sides of it to fit through this piece in the front. I ended up in a pinch with the bottom window seals and mounted them, then cut the lip off the door panel that hangs over the top...not particularly happy but couldn't keep messing with that set up.

You dont have to take the glass out. I just put some in that i bought today.
