I am going to install an electric fan on my truck it has a 2.3 but I am unsure where is best location to put the temp sensor. I know there is a write up but it is for a complete kit this will be something I will have pieced together. I am waiting on a chiltons manual to arrive mine was lost after wife put it somewhere.
I was thinking about cutting the radiator hose and putting a piece of pipe in between the 2 pieces, then drilling and tapping the hole to recieve the sensor. I got to thinking there may be a place to screw it in the block, just have to find a sensor to screw in to it. It seems to me it wouldn't matter where it was located since the truck really doesn't get that warm. I figured I ask on here in hopes that someone had done it before. :icon_confused:
Thanks for any help.
