I'm installing a alarm in my 99 Ranger I'm almost done but I can not figure out a place to mount the disarm button. It's supposed to be hidden but I must be able to reach it. If anybody can help me out that would be awesome!!!

on my 84 b2 i mounted mine where the heet comes out for down below i drilled a hole in the plastic and put it there and since its black it blends in and its just a valet butten so only u know the sequence to turn the alarm off there isnt any reason to really hide it very well

This one is actually a disarm button I already have the valet switch mounted. That is still a good idea though I'll check it out in the morning.

there should be a wire coming from your alarm module that says siren mine was a red wire that was smaller than the actual power wire and u wire it to that and then when u mount the siren just use the mounting screws to ground it oh and if u would post up a pic of ur alarm and what brand and model cause i can help u out alot cause i instal car electronics and alarms to make a little money on the side so hopefully i can help u out

unless u have a amplified siren then there should be thre wires a black and two red ones and u hook one red one up to the module and then u ad a fuse to the other red one and run it to ur battery if u have an amplified siren then that is a good system cause it will be much louder aka u can hear it up to 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile away or more

Ok here is a pic of the alarm box and on the back in the corner it says
R-2
LBL0577
I'm guessing that the model is SUREGUARD 40.
