I need to replace my inner tie rods, does anyone know if the Autozone loan a tool one will work? The guy couldnt tell me if it would or not.

2004 Ford Ranger XLT. V6 3.0L. Coil spring

I have a rental (KIT 85) from Autozone & wondering the same thing. It has 4 fittings @
1) 1-7/16, 2) 33.6mm, 3) 38.4mm, 4) 42mm -

On my 1998 super cab with coil springs the correct socket was the 1 7/16" one to remove the inner tie rod ends, I also had to use a impact on the long tool that goes on the 1 7/16" socket to remove the inner tie rod ends. I rented the tool from Advance auto supply.I just replaced mine last weekend.
