My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Not sure where to ask this question. It might be more of a fabrication question. But it came up because of my lift kit and new tires.

When you cut the fenders, particularly the front, to clear larger tires; What do you do with the plastic inner fender thingy? I realize it is helpful to keep "stuff" from being flung up on the engine by the tires. But after the fenders are trimmed, it really doesn't fit right and is more difficult to attach, right?

So, what are some good ideas for replacing or modifying it to keep the engine compartment somewhat protected?

Pictures would be helpful here.

That is simple. I will probably try it that way.
