injectors

im working on my daughters '01 ranger and i think it has a bad injector does any body know what size they are? i have a few sitting around the shop but i dont know the size, it's a stock 3.0

They're colour coded so you should be able to tell by that, if you can see them. Someone posted a guide to injectors a few days ago, can't remember where though.

Check the tech section on the homepage, it should give you a list. I have a 3.8l mustang and mine were orange and I thingk 19lbs/hr. I could be wrong though. Take an injector out and clean it though. i removed mine from my 2.3l ranger and they were black until I cleaned them. Its not the injector color your looking at BTW. Its the color of the O ring at the bottom.

the color of the injector hat indicates its flow rating, not the o-ring (most o-rings are just black).

if its a non-FFV they are 14lbs/hr. if its a FFV, they are 19lbs/hr.

Im confused then because my mustang had orange orings, maybe it was just a different bushing material or sumthing. Thanks
