im still unable to diagnose my missing stumbling 3.0. it seems to me that when i pull the 3 or 6 wire from the coil it doesnt affect performance. good spark is coming off the wire, same as the other cylinders. is this maybe injectors? is there a good way to tell without pulling the intake manifold? ive run some lucas and some seafoam through it, should i run more?

i cleaned the egr system as best i could, got a replacement for the hpde whatever sensor from the junkyard, that made no difference. i really would like to drive it more but it sux, i wanna go wheelin!

btw, thanks to all of you who help, i see you answering so many posts and helpin everyone its very cool

Yes, a dead fuel injector will cause this too if you're getting good spark.

Do you have a CEL on?

3 and 6 are not paired cylinders...so chances are good its not a coil problem (though it could still be an ignition problem).

you can try swapping injectors with good cylinders and see if the problem follows the injectors or stays with the cylinders.

have you done a compression test?

pulling plug wires is usually a good way to find dead cylinders, but it can sometimes be hard to tell. most shops have the proper diagnostic equipment to monitor the cylinder balance on your engine, which can verify your concern.

yeah but that means id hafta pull the manifold and all that
maybe more seafoam and try to blow it out
the car did sit for a long time before i bought it one year anyway

Did you try to read the plugs or pull the injector plug?

K.I.S.S. as a friend told me once, start with the small things. if you pull wire and have good spark, try different plug, take all of 2min to change
