Hey folks, quick question here for ya. I just got my hands on some 19 lbs/hr fuel injectors and I want to put them in my 87 ranger. my ranger has the 2.9L V6 and it's stock fuel injectors are 14 lbs/hr. now, my question is, what modifications do I have to make so that they work with my truck's engine?

well a good set of stock injectors will be more then fine. the heavier ones will tend to over fuel.

but if you have your heart set on it...thinking that you'll better go to a MAF set up. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/MAF_Conversion.html

They will do nothing unless you dramatically increase airflow to your engine (no, a K&N filter will not do that)... I say sell them and keep the stockers... They work plenty fine... FYI - You don't make more power with more fuel, you make more power with more air, that way you can burn more fuel, adding excess fuel will just cause your engine to run like crap, waste gas, and possibly damage your engine...
