I've have a solid 89 supercab 4X4 sitting around for several years so I finally got around to dropping an '87 Bronco II engine into it (both 2.9). It was running fine in the BII, but doesn't want to run smoothly in the Ranger. I'm not convinced that my injector wiring is correct, but the 3 & 6 injectors has the same color wires as do the 1 & 4. How's the best way to make sure they're right? I've started it,gotten a feel for how it's running, swapped the connectors, and left them at the spot it runs best at -- which still isn't too good. Any thoughts on the injectors? Also, signal lights and tail lights work, but brake lights don't turn on. The switch on the pedal checks out okay. I don't find live electricity coming into the pedal switch. Also, neither the temp gauge or oil pressure gauge are working although they're hooked up (as far as I can tell) properly. Could there be one common problem tying everything together? I'd appreciate any and all input I could get. Thanks.
