Inertia switch 92 ranger

Anyone know where the inertia switch is? Book says it's by the computer but I can't find it. Truck was a 2.9 5 speed. Thanks

Passenger footwell, either behind kick panel or near top of carpet under glovebox.
It has a button on the top side

There's nothing there

Look for a Pink wire with Black stripe, that is the To Fuel Pump wire from inertia switch, follow it.

There is also a Dark Green wire with Yellow stripe coming from Fuel Pump Relay, it hooks to the other terminal on the inertia switch.

It can be located high up so hard to see, it is small.

Sit in the passenger seat wearing heavy boots.

Kick upwards with your left foot..

that loud cracking sound you hear is your left foot breaking it

It's screwed right to the firewall by the top left corner of the passenger side footwell.

The harness and computer was taken out of the truck when I got it and was in the bed and I found it with the main harness.
