what do you think of having 1 in your ranger?

I though about doing it. But the cost for an actual decent on is high. I thought about building my own using a old laptop and a touch LCD screen. Only issue is my truck is a single din so the screen would have to go somewhere else.

there are several you can buy from 200 to over a grand just depends what you want the build quality to be and what kind of support you want from the aftermarket for roms and such. Frankly look for one with decent specs and turned to be a car stereo. Otherwise you will get annoyed with the boot up times every time you start the car. and leaving it on WILL drain the battery after a bit. some come designed to go to sleep for an hour or two so they come on immediately on startup but shutdown after that window. just saying because if your making a few quick stops a one minute or two boot up time can seem ages. Plus look for one with hardware control and media buttons. makes it easier to navigate while driving otherwise your basically messing with a tablet while driving.
