hey guys last night i took my girlfriend snowboarding for valentines day and about 8:30pm we were on are way home and i seen a 87 Toyota 4 runner for sale for $1200.. so i stopped to look at it. and WOW! i oppened the hood .... I Could not believe tha the guy put a 400hp crate motor LT1 350(brand new)/ 700r4 trans w/shift kit and b&m/ twin stick 205. oh yah and 35's.Right now the truck is onlky 2wd because the front IFS diff does not clear the oil pan. so all it needs is a straight axle swap. i seen it last night and i had to have it. so i payed the man $1200 bux and drove it 2 full hours back to my house! EXTREMELY fast Rust free Toyota! (bod and frame) I know its ChevYota but for 1200 bux im pretty sure i could get my monneys worth out of it and then sell it for more! my question is.. If you seen it on the side of the road for sale would you have bought it?
oh yah ill post pics later today!

with out even thinkin twice on that one, if i had the money, great set up for that thing minus it not having the straight axle yet but man sounds sick post a pic or 3

u wouldnt want the yota front IFS anyways, they make the d28 look like a stout axle lol. but ya, there great trucks, i dont know why it wont clear the diff though, ive put big blocks into yotas without that issue in the IFS....he musta set the motor real low down in the engine bay

Talk about a bad ass deal man, yeah get a SAS on the way and post some pics:icon_thumby:

ATTN: Rule(I just made up) - All threads in SHOW OFF YOUR TRUCK forum must have a pic so you can ........ you guessed it!!! Show off your truck!!!

the truck has a 1'' body lift.. that is it. i think maybe a torsion bar crank? it needs a SAS and thats what ima do. AFTER i finish my Branger that is.
