Sold! The flight will take less time than getting here from LAX...it only about 17 miles away, so like 2-3 hour commute.

I grew up in So Cal, I moved away but my family was still there , they have ALL moved away now, lol

But anyway, when I got married, almost 40 years ago, I took my future wife down to So Cal to meet the family
On the flight down she was asking where every one lived, there was a map in one of those in-flight magazines
I showed her on the map where my bother lived, both grand parents, and my Mom and Dad, they were kind of spread out
She asked how long to drive from my parents to my brothers, I said an hour
How long to your grandparents, an hour
But it's 1/2 the distance, I said it doesn't matter, when you get into your car its an hour drive, to go eat, to get groceries, to run to the auto parts store, its AN HOUR
And that was true 40 years ago so I am sure the 2 to 3 hours is TRUE now

Always reminded me of So Cal
