Im fed up

get bulletproof ball joints this time.
or maybe chuck norris could make a set for you.

or just weld em :icon_welder:

Chuck Norris clones his nuts to use as ball joints. If you try to remove one it will kill you, especially the left one. :shok:

shit wears out on cars, shit wears out more fasterer on modified cars
:icon_thumby:

Can you do the balljoints yourself? Either way, it's cheaper than a new car. Why get rid of something you already know all about?

If you think trucks are expensive, you must never had a girlfriend...

so $80 for ball joints, get your buddy at autozone to loan you their ball joint press and electric impact gun (they've got one for store use in there somewhere) couple hours of your time and you'll be good until the next thing breaks

Good news is the ball joints are only costing me 41 dollars.

Wait till your wheel bearings wear out from the stress of those tires. I replaced my wheel bearings twice in a year from 32s. Have you ever read peterson's 4wheel and offroad mag. During the Ultimate Adventure almost everyone has to replace ball joints, bearing, and sometimes axles on just the drive over to the begaining meeting spot 'cause of the wear tires and lift can cause. You really think you have it bad buy a S10 and then you'll have ball joint issues, on stock tires I might add.

i dunno...41 bucks for balljoints just screams 'made in china' to me.better take notes while doing the job, you'll probably be doing it again very soon.

41 bucks all together?:shok:

Unless they are Moogs on sale or something, I wouldnt use those man..You'll be right back where you started. Worn out POS's. Prematurely this time.

Just my .02 cents.

Exactly. Spend a little extra now on MOOG or even go straight to Ford to get them. Spend the little bit now, save a lot in the future. And if i'm not mistaken, MOOG has lifetime warranty.

If those ball joints say Valucraft on them, save yourself the time and buy Moog; some of Napa's suspension components are made by Moog as well (they can tell you at Napa which ones are). IMHO, I would replace uppers and lowers at the same time. No sense in digging into a project that deep and doing it half assed. Usually the others aren't far behind in needing replaced.

Here's an example of Valucraft quality. Notice the large chunks missing out of the race. It didn't sound so good!

Complain now and then just get it fixed. If you are like me, you are a maintence nutz. I got plans for my Ranger when it hits 150K miles. A total refreshment package of the Ranger that will require deep pockets to get the parts. Essential, anything that hasn't been replaced that wears out will be replaced with new parts (which is all the suspension parts), complete tune-up, and all new fluids. I even started a seperate bank account just for this future planned maintence.
