So it's saturday night and Im bored as shit. I talked to my buddy and he's in the same boat. We decided were gonna go crank out a headache rack for my Superduty. I'll be updating in the wee-hours of the morning :icon_welder: I'll leave you with a pic of my boring stock Superduty.

You must have nice neighbors if they don't mind grinding and cutting that late at night/ early in the morning!!!
My neighbors are pretty nice, but not THAT nice.

Just got home, all but finished it. Just needs some paint and a few holes drilled through it. We had a third guy show up so it went pretty quick once I figured out what I was wanted to do. I'm going to add a CB antenna mount and some reverse light tabs tomorrow, totally spaced it. Pretty basic design, strong and simple.

Like I said, nothing fancy, but it'll keep my four wheeler from smashing through my rear window if for some reason the tie downs break or something. I should have it painted and installed on the truck by next weekend. I'll update when I get there :headbang:

Mav, In my experience with headache racks, you'll want some type of triangular gusset from the horizontal mounting bar to the vertical tubes. This just seems to help reduce deflection and vibration going down the road.

Looks nice, needs some frenched in LED's though :thefinger:

I wish you'd get bored in my area! Hopefully a set of bumpers and rock rails would cure your boredom. :D

Very professional looking work. :icon_cheers:

So was the middle finger intentional in the 5th pic down?(i think thats the one) :D

It was intentional by my buddy, I didnt notice it until later.

I was actually thinking about adding those triangular gussets this morning. Something like how Pro-Tech does theirs, they look good. I think it would be a smart idea. And dont get ahead of me on the lights, I might just throw a giant yellow light bar up there :thefinger:

A few pics of it on the truck this morning. Damn rain flash rusted it.
