Ignition Key Locked

Occasionally my ignition key seems to lock in the off position
Sometimes I can keep messing with it and wiggling it around and it will turn.
When it does the truck starts and runs fine.

Does any-one know how to fix this?
Or an explanation of the problem would be helpful

Replace the ignition cylinder while you can still get it out. If it jams and you are unable to turn it you will be looking at drilling the cylinder out.

try moving the steering wheel
when it does that. if that's it,
dont worry, they all do that.

yea i was gonna say turn the steering wheel as much as it will and then turn the key. I dont know why this happens but i had to do it some ladies car at work before.

just googled it. its called a torque lock and happens when you shut off the truck with the wheel turned hard, just make sure you let go of the wheel before shutting it off and you should be good.
