If you won the lottery.............

i would quit my job, maybe take a crap on my boss's desk on my way out because hes and a- hole and i would start my own business. naturally i would pay off my house as well as my parents house and my dad's business and give them enough money to retire on so they can quit working. i would buy my wife a new car, whatever she wants as long as its a ford. i would really like to buy about 200 acres and build a modest house right in the middle of it so i wouldnt have any neighbors. i would hunt.. alot! probably fish alot and i would travel the world. i would like to visit Normandy to pay honor to the fallen americans that are buried there, i would also visit Pearl harbor hawaii for the same reason as well as visit all the national military memorials. i would also like to visit canada, not really sure why, ive just always wanted to go there, its really not that far from me so im not sure why i havent been there already. lol i would travel america and eat at all the awesome pig out places that guys did on that man vs. food show, especially the place in texas with the ginormous steaks. man, i could go on and on but thats the big stuff i would do.

I think I'd help my friends with their debts, buy a piece of land - maybe 8-10 acres - just outside of Hutch, build a small 3 bedroom and have a fully equipped garage that has every tool ever but is reasonable in size (40'x30'?). I'd definitely get those headers I've been wanting for my Ranger - BUT THE 3.0 WOULD STAY MUAHAHAHAHA:thefinger:. Then I'd get my hands on one of these for getting back at all those ricer punks:

Sure, it LOOKS like a Dodge Omni, but with some tweaks, that 2.2 turbo will put out 300+ HP reliably and fling that little econobox from a red light like nothing. I think I'd hunt for another 99-01 Cherokee with a stick and sleeper the hell out of that with a 4.6 stroker and headers since I'm messed up like that and I want to the the puzzled look on some guys face when his rice burner gets its doors blown off by a soccer wagon.:icon_twisted: I'm pretty sure I'd make a dirt track that goes around the property and for a DD I'd get a cherry 90's Ford Tempo 4 door with a stick and shove a SHO motor in it with duals and other mods. I am a firm believer in the sleeper and love cars form the 80's since I remember them seeming so big inside - lack of airbags, and carpet covered cardboard for interior trim help with that illusion:icon_twisted:.

Probably build or invest in a low income apartment building as well since I've seen too many people have trouble finding a place in these times and while habitat for humanity might make a couple homes occasionally around here, an apartment building houses many more more efficiently. I'd keep a lot in C/D's and IRA and stuff thats FDIC secure but will compound interest so I don't run out in this lifetime.

...especially the place in texas with the ginormous steaks.

You mean The Big Texan in Amarillo, right? I've been there and TRIED to scarf down that steak dinner (EXCELENT steak, plus baked potato, dinner roll, side saled and shrimp cocktail). I did mange to get all of it eaten, minus 24 oz of the steak. I didn't do too bad for a damn Yankee. :icon_twisted:

yes, thats the one! i know i couldnt eat it all but i could put a big dent in it. i love steak! lol

I'd fix the Ranger.

Then I'd set up a semi-non-profit garage geared mostly towards helping people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to get their cars fixed.

I dunno man. The thing weighs a ton and is bigger than a compact spare tire!

That sounds like a cool idea. Can I join you in that effort? Every mad scientist needs a hunchback. Please let me play Igor.

Heck, maybe we could get TRS to help sponsor us!

If I won the lotto I would probably buy everything I see I like until it was all gone and probably be out of a job ta boot. Just being honest the only reason I work is to buy stuff

I would welcome the chance to work with another TRS member.

If I won the lotto, Id purchase as much land as I could beside a lake, Build a really nice log home, fill the garage with muscle cars and 4x4 fords. Then on top of that id restore every type of 3 wheeler made and build a top fuel drag way to keep the money coming in.

1. take the lump sum after taxes
2. Buy a house with land in TN
3. Buy another motorcycle
3. Stay working at the grocery store, in college, and plans to enlist after graduating
4. Build a trail rig
5. get a small trailer out by the lake or get a small house in SC close to the beach where I used to live

that sounds good enough, keep the rest and try to invest some of it.

oh yea and
6. get a 70 Chevelle SS

thats all

after hitting it big, then realizing I'd have to PAY MILLIONS in taxes to the feds, state, and locals.............:bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling: :annoyed:

i would make my ranger a street legal prerunner and my broncoII into the baddest ass broncoII anybody has ever seen roll down the street and the trail!!!! and buy some other stuff and split 1/4 of it between mt siblings and give alot to my parents. basicly have a happy life :)

Seems like most of you would use it for the greater good. Helping out people and setting up family for retirement.

That's one I left out. I'd pay my dad's retirement so he and mom can cruise to Oregon and drive sandrails on the dunes. And the people do come out of the woodwork for $$$ too. I've always read that big winners hire a lawyer to handle money grubbers. Probably the best way to go. Let the lawyer sort it out while you sort out how to manage the $$$.

I would buy a new ranger, Dodge Ram 2500 powerwagon, 2011 mustang GT, 2010 dodge challenger R/T, harley sportser 883, my dream house (basically a modernized farm house), about one hundered electric guitars, and then I would try to buy the olds, and pontiac marques from GM, and build GOOD, reliable, and cheap cars, and of course muscle cars. Then I would give my family a good chunk of money so they wouldn't have to work, then I would hire a lawyer to find all the tax loopholes, and donate to some really good charities.:icon_thumby::icon_cheers:
