what would be the toughest most reliable axles to put my 88 ranger on i want a straight front axle and stong what are my options that are the easiest to install? if you could explain in english that would be great im new to this my first truck i dont know all the abbreveations and what not but i know i like to have more fun in my truck than the stock equipment will alow me to have.

if you still have the stock engine in the truck a Dana 44 and ford 9" combo would be fine. if your lookin to handle alot of power a Dana 60 would work. really kinda depends on the type of wheelin your doin too.

Yea right now every thing is stock exept the 3" body lift an brush gaurd is there a website or business you would recomend getting those axles from

if money was no object....easy....

get Dynatrac to build Dana 60's front and rear.....with the front setup for a Jeep TJ so you could use Rusty's Offroad radius arms....and the rear for leaf springs....have them setup for a 5x5.5 bolt circle with a Detroit Locker in the rear and a E-locker up front....

you did say money was no object.....

want a more budget friendly set-up.....do what the others have suggested....

5 ton axles with 20 inch lmtv wheels. oh and might wanna do a v8 swap.

UniMog axles with rear steer and 60in tractor tires, exo cage and a alcohol powered 460

Volvo or Unimog portals or build a custom 14 bolt with portal boxes on it.

Then your axles would be worth approximately 12x more than your truck.

and he's obviously going to be needing dual fuel pumps out of a couple of sherman tanks and a 1 inch fuel line. and maybe a 50 cal on top. and a flux capacitor. shit, why not.

hi-9 fab. axles with portals.....about 15K....but hey its just money right?
