If its one thing, its another

Wait, Clutch only last you 100K with a 2.3? Hmmm... Spirited driver Im guessing. My clutch is still ok after 133,000, but the pilot bearing is on its way so Ill replace it all at once that way I dont have to worry about the clutch later when it does start going out.
I'm actually surprised mine lasted since it was owned at one point by a auto parts dealer for 25,000 miles before my G-Pa bought it, then my dad had it, then me; and I use it to haul some gnarl loads all summer.

It actually lasted 113K miles. It wasn't slipping or having any troubles, just I knew it was time. The clutch pad was worn flat. Not only that, my driving consist of stop and go traffic. I can hardly make it a mile without stopping with all the stop signs and traffic lights.

Just when I thought I was done. I had to go find that my speedo is still off. Not as much as the first try, but enough to annoy me. Its reading 4mph faster than actually. So now I got to go back into tearing the cluster apart and replacing the needle correctly. Last time, I did this while driving the truck at 50mph. Not the brightest or smarted thing. This time, I collected data from the GPS and PCM to compare and match the difference of being off. So now I'm thinking of disconnecting the driveshaft and let the engine run up to 50mph while parked. It should work, since the PCM relies on the tranny and not the R-ABS sensor.

Also, the Ranger is developing a shaking feel while trying to take off in first gear. Like the clutch is feathering. But goes away after driving for a while.
