Idle Surge

Ok 2002 4x4 4.0L 5speed, I have been having problems with the truck when I step on the clutch the RPM's go up to 3000 and hang there for a little bit and fall back to 1100-1500rpm's or when I come to a red light and shift out of gear its revs up to 3000 rpm's and hangs for a little. I have gone over the usual suspects, cleaned MAF, cleaned IAC then replaced IAC, Replaced TPS, Replaced PCV. any Ideas before I take her into the shop? the motor is stock and if its a vaccum leak where do they usual occuar?

hit the brakes at the same time? torn booster boot. need a new vacum booster for the brakes.

easy test. remove the vac line from the booster an seal it with something, bottle cap placed over while engine is running works. now drive it. no surge? booster torn.

there is a rubber elbow coming off the front of the block on the left side you will probaly have to pick up the radiator hose to see it check to see if it is split. My truck did the same thing but only when it wormed up and the rubber became soft.
