Well I have been away from my truck for about 2 weeks and didn't run it or anything. I start it up and am letting it idle to charge up the battery after letting it play music for an hour or so...
Anyway while its running and I'm washing my dads car I noticed the A/C would kick on (the defrost was on so it is supposed to) and when it shut off every few cycles the motor sounded like it dropped below its normal Idle speed for a second then pick back up. Like 700 RPM's then up to 1100RPM's when the A/C went on and then it would click off and the RPM's would drop to around 500 or lower for a second when normally it drops maybe to 600.
Anyways it almost died twice in the time of ten minutes. I figured maybe it had something to do with the battery being run down a bit and the alternator was trying to charge it, but it would drop down like that every time i would assume? Right now I am thinking it is a dirty sensor or a sticky A/C pulley any other suggestions on what to check? Maybe I should let it go for a long drive and heat up?
