Idiots

I feel the same way. Especially those stupid hog huntin shows. Its sooooo F-ing irritating to watch them and their worthless ass dogs run after hogs. My dogs are not the best but they would out hunt theirs every day of the week and twice on Sunday! Watchin them runnin around so pathetic like is irritating.

I hate how they go on and on about how dangerous they are and then have to wrestle with them to take them alive.

If they are half as dangerous as they let on I would pop them in the begining and not deal with it.

Oh, and I was bored and looked up the Judge shows like judge judy and all that. It's real, but it's a group arbitration, not small claims court. Just interesting fact there

Oh no...... was Wapner a phony??? :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

"Wapner at four"

85- Ha ha ha the boars can be dangerouse as hell! But if you have good dogs they will work the hog and keep his attention or catch him and won't let him go till you tell em to or he's dead. But once you grab his hind leggs and lift his hind end off the ground he can be flipped over and hogs are like a turtle. Once they're on their back or side they're kinda helpless. But you never get near their mouth until you're tying it shut cuz they'll bite you and shake like a pit bull.

Of the repo shows the only one worth watching is "Repo Games" on SPIKE-TV.
That show is like a half hour "Battle of the Jay Walk All-Stars".

it is fooking hilarious how STUPID some people can be.

Notwithstanding the idea that they actually financed some of the junk that's being Repo'ed

The reason they must take them alive is because it is illegal in most states
for a slaughterhouse or butcher to process a hog that is already dead
when they first see it.

But there is also a political side... to avoid having PETA accuse them of making a "snuff film" TV series most killing is done off camera

I would say the sows can be dangerous too. We once had a pointing dog get between her and her piglets and the dog got ripped up by one pretty badly. What I can't stand is why don't they just kill them? They are a dangerous, madly pro-creating, non-native nuisance.

Dog the Bounty Hunter no longer has any more seasons. Coworker just let me know his show was non-renewed.

Plus, they get paid on the judge shows. There is a 5000 dollar pot that they divide based on the arbitration.

So if you have a small claims, and don't wanna pay for it with your money, go on a judge show.

Robert- yeah a sow can get a lil sassy once in a while. Usually sows don't get very big cutters but they do get them.

what a coincedence that you'd start this thread today bdab.....so i play in a flag football league here in raleigh. (lizard lick is a real place, it's like 30 mins east of here) they need extras to film a scene that takes place at a football practice. $50 a day plus food....too bad i'd make more than that if i go to work. i'd probably lose a few IQ points as well and i'm getting low on those as it is lol

It is how they play it up as they do that annoys me. Lets sic a bunch of dogs on him, drag him around by his leg and marvel how mad he gets.

Being a feral animal I doubt many go to slaughterhouses anyway.

Dunno about the butcher thing, I take dead (shot and gutted) deer in all the time. If it is a widespread law it must only apply to hogs.

They shoot alligators a lot on some other show that invades my History Channel (and I don't see what it has to do with history either :icon_confused:)

oh i know how it does, the people on that show have a lonnnnnnnnnng family history of incest

And some times the land owner doesn't allow fire arms or they could be in a subdivision that's a no shoot zone. But then again some guys get lucky and find a hunting preserve that buys them. There's ranches out there that are thousands and thousands of acres that are low fenced to keep hogs in and they run hog hunts. And there's some that are free range and they don't have a high enough population so they're constantly buying hogs to turn loose.
85- Some butchers won't process wild animals. I think they have to meet diff regulations to be able to process wild game. There's only one in my area that will process wild game.

I think that is the only way they keep their lights on around here. :D

I can think of three of them within an hour of me off the top of my head that will.

Here too. I bet there's 20 within an hour of me. I can think of six. Here, whitetail season is only second to football season. I can't imagine a meat market not butchering any wild game - as long as it's tagged. Wild pigs are not native, so they don't fall in that category here. The baby ones are yummy too.

edit: California, oh, now I get it. Nevermind.
