:EDIT: The shifter seems to be broken and it goes directly into the trans so yea trans is gone AFAIK

All things considered it took it really well. There have been Rangers that crushed clear down so it LOOKED like a convertable.

yea but the sad thing is that wasn't that fast just 35-45 or anything i think that the rust just really weakened the structural integrity of the cab causing it to collapse that far but we all knew that the truck wouldn't last to much longer.

Oh btw my dad is mostly mad about me breaking off the center rear view mirror again

In highschool my friend had one just like that except white. It was a stickshift with the little inline 4 cyl. He flipped it in the same manner you did, snow and all, into a ditch.

He now has a 90 with the same set up that he's had for almost 6 yrs now. It's a GMC S15..same thing.

Glad you're OK too !! Problem was the rust holes disrupted the aero druing the slide causing to much side lift, causing lift-off. Find a decent truck in need of motor/trans.

Yes it did, There seems to be alot of these 4 cyl. 5spd lil trucks around. my dad doesn't like the idea of a 'vert rustbucket dunno why. The reason I think I hit the ditch is snow, poor tires, not alot of weight in the back and the worlds greatest weight reducer, Rust.

Actually I was going to just slide to a stop until I hit a drainage ditch sideways.
after going through that I get out take a step and fell into what flipped the truck.
