i want to drop a v6 in my 95 ford ranger anyone have info on how i would do this what i would need to buy or need to change?

No offense man, but do a search. This has been asked many, many, many, MANY times before.

It has, but since i can't resist helping.....

A donor vehicle would be easiest.

You'll need a different tranny, the engine and wiring harness, radiator, etc, etc.

Still interested?

A v-6 will not fit inside a 4cyl.
Sorry, Had to say it.
You need to do a little research and decide on what v-6 you want. Once you've come to a decision there are many here that can help you with any problem you may encounter. It will include a transmission as well.
On the other hand, there is a better aftermarket parts base for the 2300. You can make more h.p. and torque from the 2300 than any of the v-6s. Although it requires RPMs to acheive.
