I want a whip!

Sup guyz, Ive seen a few trucks with long offroad whips in the back and I want 1 or 2. I cant seem to find any on the net, what is the proper name for those? Does any one know where I can get them? Thanks.

I always thought they were antennas...but they could just be safety flags on a coil spring pole...try searching on off road safety flags...

I have a six footer that the ATV store gave my brother for free when he bought a new helmet, we use it to keep people from running into our well. A nice big orange flag is quite noticeable compared to a dirt colored (rust) well sticking 2 feet out of the ground.

its called an antenna for CB's. go to ur local truck stop and u should be able to get 4 or 5 footers which are plenty big on a ranger

there are different kinds of cb antennas are you talking about the thick black ones or the really long thin metal ones like on cop cars?

I have a 12 foot whip antenna with the ball mount and spring I got from a local flea market. I wouldn't have a prob gettin you one, but shipping would b outrageous

Yeah there are black and thicker that cb antenna's. Ill look for them on truck shop or ill try radioshack and see what I can find.

make sure to get the cb with it and not just an antenna
