So last weekend I was at my freinds and there his this huge hill by his house, and it his known for being knarly and not many people have made it up. I tried and I just couldn't get traction on all those rocks. The rocks were good size too like basketballs and a bunch a little ones. I made it about 3/4 of the way. If I had a locked rearend I know I woulda made it no problem. I had no clearence problems though. :D

momentum. You need more momentum. Put it in 4lo and just cruise in 3rd gear all the way up.

Dude I totally love the look of your truck lol. You need a new front bumper now and you will really bring that big offroad truck image to yours

Ric I haven't heard you talk about Sonja for a long while.

That hill did not look too bad, but pictures usually always lie.

That's because Sonja's all grown up and is (works for a) archaeologist who uses her for rock hunting now.

Here he she is from the past...

Hey King, you need to check out Rocky Mountain Ford Truck Club

We go on trail runs every so often & they're a great group of guys to go wheeling with. In fact, they're going to Slaughterhouse Gulch on the 13th of Oct. I can't go because I have to go to my biddy's wedding but I'll be organizing a run to Chinamans Gulch in late Oct/early Nov. You need to come wheeling with us sometime.

It is really hard to tell how hard a hill is by pictures. By the pics your truck should have went up that without a problem. A locker would definitely help. Airing down the tires a bit may do it too.

HERE ARE A FEW PICS OF ME PLAYING AROUND MY HOUSE AND UP AT RAMPART RANGE.

Sweet, I need more done to my truck like lower gears and locker to keep up probably. You ever go wheelin' up near rampart, woodland park up in there.

No you don't. Most of the guys on that site have open diffs. Some aren't even lifted, you got that part covered good. We help each other out if needed & we all have fun.

I've never wheeled around Rampart Range Road. I have rode my dirt bike there but that was coming from Castle Rock through Sedalia & hitting Rampart from that way.

I'm on RMFTC as well. Good club, however there are a couple of members who I could care less for... **** and ***** know who they are. But other than that, great group of people.

I'm open in my Bronco, and it works out ok. I wish I was lifted, just havent had the money to do that and I'm trying to sell the Bronco anyway.

King, if you are interested in running Slaughterhouse with us, I can get you the info. It's a pretty laid back trail, but still fun nonetheless. I'll be taking my Ranger up, I like how it wheel's a little better than the Bronco.
