Love the J-10's great looking trucks, This is us moving what was left of an explorer

we thought we had it chained down tight, the hill at the edge of town didn't think so lol,

( a little back story on the explorer, I got it with a bad A4LD bought an M5OD and was going to swap it over, my uncle went to the hospital for a week and came back and found it like this in the barn :bawling: they used my sawzall, big hammer, and tools to tear the shit up. I wasn't happy to say the least :annoyed: )

I've hauled 3/4 ton of sand in my '96 with a 2.3. Didn't realize it until it got weighed and I sure ain't gonna do that again!! Not sure, but I'm guessing thats what broke my front leaf spring mount.

My bike weighs more than that quad does.

I have hauled a 92 ranger with a 4.0 on a flat bed trailer with my 88 ford ranger with a 2.9 up a few hills and on the freeway. also i have pulled my dads 3/4 ton with a 460 with a geo metro

I hope whoever is pulling that Chevy on the trailer has exceptional auto insurance. Looks to be a 4200 lb truck and a 1000-1500 lb trailer being pulled by a 3300 lb Ranger.....not too bright to put other people's lives and property at risk.

(That is my truck BTW, nearly an 700lb load)

My truck with about 30 bags of top soil in it. I don't remember how much they weighed, maybe 40 lbs each? If so that's 1200 lbs.

You have a newer one with 4X4, it can handle the weight better than our raggity old trucks

You'd be amazed how much hard maple sawdust weighs mixed with a little dirt. filled my truck level with the tops of the bedsides and crowned just a little bit... it was an inch and a half to the bump stops... and I have 4-door explorer leafs!

I know this wasn't in a ranger, but I had 4500 lbs in my Chevy (a 4500lb truck). Most I had in my ranger was maybe 800 or a little more.

I should have snapped a pic when I had a friends New Holland PTO manure spreader on mine, it had to be close to the bumpstops. I didn't want to crawl through all the unmentionble material to check.

One of those deals "I'll get it later" and I unhooked it and forgot about it. It pulled it out of the lot fine, I didn't go any farther than that. Front wheels were very noticibly drooping and the rear was very much stuffing. Those things are all tongue weight and no brakes... need a bigger horse for that cart on the road.
