When I got home from the 20th Anniversary Tail Ride, I found (2) $25.00 gift cards for LMC Truck that I forgot to giveaway.

So here's what I'm going to do.....

I would use the gift card towards buying new window felts and seals for my doors on my 1987 Ranger V8 swap truck. Mine are old and cracked apart so I'm sure a lot of water is getting in to the doors. Every time I wash it, some water is getting in to the interior too..

It's a constant work in progress, but not having a job for a while has slowed my progress a little.

After driving it 2.5 hours home my buddy thought we should get a picture with the proud new owner..

Drove it to work for a few weeks before I got started on the deconstruction..

In the middle of the V8 swap.

Made a new friend for life during the swap. He still whines and howls like a coyote whenever I come driving the truck down the road to his house, and leaks a little pee when I get out of the truck. lol

His owner hates me for it a little. lol (Cujo likes me better than his owner because I bring him live fish snacks to eat regularly, and we took naps together on the garage couch when I got tired or drank too much beer during the swap)

Sorry if I went a little ham on this post. I get carried away easily when talking about the "Red Rocket" as my buddy named it.. But this little Ranger takes me back to my teenage years every time I hop in it. It's an identical replica of my very first truck, only I could finally afford a V8 swap now that I'm older. So now I have something to show for half my life savings instead of a stupid paper bank balance receipt. lol

So right now me and my GF Lisa are in the middle of rebuilding a 88 Bronco2 for her to wheel. She has had so much fun driving my truck Bronco2 "Gilligan" that she wanted one of her own and went and picked one out. What looked great in pictures turned out not so nice in person.


The more I dug into the truck the more issues I have found and our simple plan to throw some wheels on it and go wheeling has turned into a full restomod build into another badass truck to go along with mine.
We are replacing the floors, core support, complete interior,v8 swapping it, adding a c4 and 1350 doubler,8.8,d35 and everything in the James Duff catalog!

I think its pretty obvious she could use a gift from LMC!
