i need some help

are there any members near west plains mo? my girlfriends son has a 2000ish explorer sport that has some issues. i was wondering if there was anyone that could take a look at it for me? i would but i don't have the time to drive 8 hours one way to look at it and drive 8 hours home. i am trying to help him out since he has been out of work for a while and don't want him to be taken for a ride by a shop.

I don't live anywhere near him, but do you know what the problem(s) is/are?

from what i can gather it needs a cv axle and maybe a t case as the 4x4 doesn't work. not sure what else as i have never even seen it
