I need help please

What’s up everyone I just bought a 95 ranger 4.0 manual n I’m doing a tune up including valve cover gaskets I’m having big time trouble getting the bracket off where the ignition coil sits on I got the two top bolts but I can’t get the bottom one to break free any advice thanks

First off, Welcome to TRS.

The bottom bolt can be nuisance, but there is no real trick to it. Lots of penetrating oil and a little time to allow it to do it's thing.
Consider where it is attached. Lot's of heat. Over time the threads can bond.
If you can get an impact rated universal socket and a long extension on it try a light impact wrench. As I recall, that's how I removed mine. Just give the penetrating oil time to work. I don't forget to put anti-seize lube on it when it goes back in.

Yup, they can be a pain. I have a battery powered impact these days and that’s what I go after a lot of stuff these days

Thanks bud I broke the bolt and kept it move it moving I took off the driver side valve cover n it is bad can not use it anymore I looked online n called some places couldn’t find the valve covers do u happen to know where thanks

I got a set for my Ranger at the local pull a part out of an explorer. Under 30 bucks, but that was 12 years ago
