so i need a job, and ...i'm almost 18. don't have my diploma yet but in ~2 weeks or less i'll have it.

i'm going into the aviation field and i'm 99% completed with my powerplant/ general classes.

i'm turning 18 at the end of august..and most jobs around here require to be 18+
Would they hire me if you need to be 18+? i'm about 2.5 months off of 18.

Possibly but you probably have to wait the 2.5 months. Go ahead and put in applications now, there isn't any reason you shouldn't. Just remember that you're going to be on the low end of candidates unless you can make one hell of an impression. People have to get started somewhere so you may not get the exact job you want. But you have PLENTY of time to get that situated.

Ask about a "work experience" program. That's how I got into the mining field at age 16. I was covered (insurance) under the states education program. Where the company requires one to be 21 yo to be employed.

yeah out here we have a school that offers a high school program so that you can get your general/ Powerplant done for free and before you're even out of HS. it's pretty cool.

only thing that is annoying is the school is called MIAT. so when i say i go to MIAT people think i go to MIT. I'm not that smart!
