I need a good spritz spray bottle. Who makes the good ones?

Funny you say that, thats exactly what I mostly use it for.
I do most of my dirt bike tires with tire irons and spoons, and never have soap and water, or a sprayer that works, laying around...it helps the tubes seat nice too.

This is the one we use at work well pretty much every place I have been really. They work great for brake clean, wd40, simple green. There not very big. Just some compressed air.

i found they have crc penetrant at ace hardware. it works pretty good. i use pb blaster and that crc stuff for lube on my bicycle chain.

its messy but the stuff they actually sell for bicycle chain lube needs to be reapplied every 40-50 miles and i ride that in one sitting for its very expensive for bike store chain lube. pb blaster and crc last 200-300 miles an application.

as far as spray bottles though, i cannot find any that last more than one use with wd-40 or anything other than water

Sounds like it should last longer then that. I have some chain lube I got at the NAPA and it's really tacky. I use it on industrial chain drive equipment.

I make my own Windex - water, a good dollop of rubbing alcohol, a half drop of Dawn, and blue food coloring. Works great for everything you'd use Windex on, and costs next to nothing.
you can also make your own windshield cleaner the same way... the alcohol will lower the freeze point... although the windshield cleaner is (or was) dirt cheap.
if you buy Windex sprayer save them they are good at least for what they are intended for - last a long time

I've been doing it for many years and can tell you that sunlight and contact with pavement break down rubber far faster than any chemicals I use on tires. WD-40 and most other light oils will do zero damage to a tire.

Don't use silicone spray though.................. I ran out of WD one time and tried that instead, might as well be using super glue, I have never had tires stick to wheels that bad when I went to remove them.

I always use this style pump sprayers for chemicals.

The pump pressurizes the bottle, it doesn’t contact the fluid. They seem to hold up against chemicals better than regular spray bottles.

The problem with the sprayers is the solvents break down the o-rings inside the nozzle. Then they're useless. I usually try to remove the sprayer when NOT in use and get some regular water through the tube and nozzle as soon as possible. It helps them last longer, for me anyways.

Yea its probably not good for the tire, but WD40 seems to dry away, plus the moto tires dont stay on long lol.

I'm a tire snob, especially if it has knobs.
