I may have just bought my last Ford

Get two of them.

Damn. I screwed that one up. I took 2 vacations. We went to Grand Caymon last month and we're leaving for Disney World tomorrow.

Yup, you dun screwed up.

I have a semi interesting lease story if anyone cares. This is the only lease I've ever been involved with for myself or immediate family. In May 2016 my daughter was graduating from College in the Delaware area. I'm in Massachusetts. She had a job in Phoenix starting in July. I saw an ad in my local paper for a 2016 Corolla LE lease for College Grads. $2000 down, $39 month /24 months, 15k miles a year. $350 fee when you give the car back or buy it for $13,100. I ended up calling a few Dealers in Phoenix. They matched the offer except it was $59/month for 24 months. They FedEx the paperwork to her, she signed it and sent it back. They dropped the car off at a relatives house where she was staying in Phoenix. Myself or my daughter never went to the actual dealer, I never met the Salesman. She left Phoenix this past May dropped the car off, paid a $350 fee. It had 28k miles on it. The $59 per month included sales tax and AZ registration fees and tinted windows cost. the whole project took me about 2 hours! It was beautiful. Total cost was $3766 $156/month. I'm not a big leasing fan but in this situation it worked out fine. Also the car credit etc was all in her name so that helped her too.

But seriously, you won on that deal.

Wow, I had only read the first half of the thread. I just perused the rest of the thread. What a nightmare. Any chance of some kind of lemon law. I had a lemon law issue once that worked out well. I bought a new 1995 F150 with a 300 v6. The engine block cracked. They installed a new engine. A month later I tried the 4WD. I had never tried to put it in 4wd until then. I went to put it in 4wd and it was fubared. Ended up being that they had put the wrong gear in the transfer case. They tracked down the manger for the northeast. The guy OKed a new truck for me. I got a new 1996 F150 with a 302. The only cost was about $500 which was the cost of the upgraded engine etc. Have you tried to contact a higher higher up manager from Ford. Tell him the company is getting trashed on a Ford website. [emoji852]

My daughter got rear ended in that Corolla I posted about. I had her go to the toyota Dealer body shop. It was about a $4k repair. They fixed it and all was good. I do like the idea of going to the Dealers shops for repairs while it is leased or under warranty. That way they own it. My .02 ....."Cars totally suck yet they're awesome at the same time" [emoji856]

No such luck. NJ lemon law doesn't cover any accident damage.
