We just got at least 6" of snow in OK today. I know its not alot for u northern guys but its alot for us down here. I just wanna thank God for my BII and that I got it. There were a ton of people out tonight and I'm glad that my 4wd was working and that AllanD sold me the one manuel hub when I needed. Thanks to anyone and everyone that has helped me whether they know they did or not. Thanks for a great site Jim. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

my RBV didn't get to see snow today, but my F-150 did driving from far NE OK to Edmond. No problems other than the usual morons out there that drive like they've never seen snow.

OKC got 14" of snow. All the interstateswere shut down.Saw plenty of people out w street tires and stuck in ditch. I had a hard time comung up my driveway.

I miss my 89 Eddie Bauer BII... even with crappy street tires it was still awesome in the snow, I threw a couple used mud tires on it and went playing one year with two built-up jeeps off-road. I was totally stock, pushing snow with the headlights and only got stuck once when I broke through some ice. The jeeps were on 34" tires and 36" tires with lockers an all and both got stuck at least once.

i've said it before and i'll say it again....my stock 88 BII followed my buddies 84 CJ7 with 35's and lockers everywhere during high school. we got 26" of snow one year and drove my BII all over the place. the snow was so high that the TTB acted like a snow plow.

The snow is fun. The ice sucks. It hard to get traction on ice.

I have a friend that lives in Edmond. I was talking to his GF about the snow storm they got. He just took his jeep down there and said it did great in all that snow.

That's what chains are for! lol

Yeah we really don't have much use for chains. This only happens a few times a year, and it disappears quickly. Its supposed to get up tp 38 today, so it'll leave it nice and muddy.

Didn't get to drive the BII because the 1350/1354 doubler is on the table in the garage (knew I should have put it back together) but I did drive the stock 2000 Explorer from Shawnee to OKC to pick my wife up from work and back home. Gotta love the 4x4. Preformed absolutely great. Drove to Tulsa Christmas day and then back home the 26th. Don't believe I ever spun a tire unless I was trying. Calling for another inch or two today.
