I just pwned a tree and.....

now i need a new bed, rear bumper and passenger side door...

i was going down "dead mans hill" with 2 friends in the front seat, one sneezed and caused the other to flinch and bumped my truck from 2nd to neutral going down hill and next thing i realized was going 45 downhill in nuetral, tried to get it back in gear but it just grinded, looked up and saw a sign so i swerved to avoid that and then over corrected and spun out into the woods and took out a tree.... loose gravel and no weight in the bed didn't help either, its a miricle we didn't flip or get a branch threw the window, we got airborned of the back too.... i peed myself also


luckly not only did we managed get back on the road after smacking and taking out a tree sideways without stoping, no damaged other than sheetmetal happend and i think all 3 of us were in such shock, we didn't stop till we got to the end of the road... and just were amazed.. God saved my bacon that time, or else i woulda barrel rolled into oblivion.

managed to pick enought taillight peices out of the bark to make something that resembles a taillight, but my bumper is toast, it wraped around the tree and probly straitened me out enough to not flip... bed side is ded, took out a 3 inch tree with it, tree is ded...

aside from pulling branches out my leaf springs, everything is mechanically sound..

now, heres my question, will 89-92 doors with hand crank windows work with 83-88 interior panels?

theres someone parting out an 89 ranger on CL, i might see what parts hes got..

im sure God saved my arse tonight

I've read where some use the 89-92 panels for the 83-88 doors, so why not. I think you lose the speakers though. I may be wrong though.

i had brakes, but i managed to lock them up and thats what screwed me up, locking up the brakes...

oh, i think the tree had the worse of it....

btw, thanks for making sure im ok, im fine, my friends are fine. Im going to go take the truck out for a drive to see how its doing now that im not in shock anymore
