I was thinkin to day. I want something fast after ridein in my buddys fox. So I got to think I dont want a car. I want a truck.
So why not a prerunner style 2wd? So he has a bulit 331 stroked 302 in another fox he bought for parts or mabey a 2.3 turbo?. I can get the hole car for around 500 Theres and engine/trans and rear end all ready set up for coils. Mabey a 94+ ranger with about 4" lift and some 33's But I want something that can handle. But I cant stand lowerd trucks I like to play in the hills.
And help or Ideals would be great.

i'd just do run of the mill 302 swap. More than enough power for 2wd hill play. But with gas prices as is, don't go near it if youre driving this thing much. If you're doing a lot of driving a modded up 4.0 will provide good power and decent mileage. That and i wouldnt drop a load into any engine at this point as i'm hoping an alt fuel pops up in the next 3 to 5 years.
good luck
alex.

Why not buy the $500 fox, and if its a parts car I assume the $500 isn't driveable. I would say swap that drive train into another car, like an 80's fox chassis Thunder bird or Cougar, everything should bolt right up. Those cars can be had for cheap too, and there only like 300lbs heaver then a Stang.

You can drive the car. It has no title. I dont really want a stang to many of em around here.

did u read what he said, he said a 80's style thunderbird or cougar

Like I was sayin to many of theme cars around here.
And it is just to easy to make a stang couger or t bird fast.
